Artwork: WOMEN * LIFE * FREEDOM

The symbolism in this piece is beautiful. The young woman with the sad countenance sits cutting her hair, and from the ends comes the growth of leaves. This piece was created by Roya in solidarity with the women of Iran. The powerful, gentle, message of the resistance towards restrictive ideas of femininity   (symbolised by the hair) and the rebirth of something new and empowering (the leaves) is an uplifting and heart-breaking message for the brave young women Roya supports with this piece.

Artwork: Abstract of Mind

Perpetual Dream Maze has created a stunning image which sets the viewer to wondering. The dramatic red halo draws us in, and highlights, the figure with a bunch of flowers instead of a face.  The title 'Abstract of Mind' hints at a message of daydream or fugue, could the figure be that of the artist in the midst of creation? Or does the artist seek to represent the viewer in a mirror like fashion. Wonder upon wonder.

Artist: Franca Turrin

Artwork: Tetryon Dream

This beautiful, lustrous, image of a flower depicts the majesty of mother nature in such an elegant way. The vibrant colours, and the use of the dark blue background, sends the viewer into a reverie of just how intricately life has evolved over millennia. Franca's powerful depiction highlights this mystery in such a masterful way, leaving the viewer feeling both awed and mystified in equal measure.

Artist: Tiffatronn

X Profile@tiffatronn

Artwork: Multiplicity

The work of Tiffatronn has an iconic style that has become synonymous with the NFT movement. In this piece 'Multiplicity' each layer and detail seems considered and yet spontaneous. Looking deep into the textures and layers the viewer finds small figures, stars, intricate pencil lines and sumptuous rivers of colour. The sense of peering inside the artists dreamscape is a subtle through line in Tiffa's pieces. Making the viewer feel strangely connected and intimate with the artist is a very moving way.

Artist: BLACK LABEL ART CULT

X Profile: @bl_artcult

Artwork: Unnamed

This striking piece of art conjures up notions of demonic cults, sinister nightmares and Satan worship.  the artist Black Label Art Cult gives the viewer plenty of fodder for their imagination. The texture of this piece is like that of a vintage photograph which adds to the sense of realism this piece conveys. The artist gives us the impression that this figure may haunt the wilder fringes of our waking hours moaning, or possibly screaming, insanity into the winds.

Artist: Greene

Artwork: Raw Beauty 14

The title of this piece 'Raw Beauty' aptly conveys the impact of this image in a powerful way. Evan's art has a level of detail that is hard to ignore. The use of textural lines and the vivid colours, are reminiscent of natural forms; such as banded agate, the inside of a sea shell, or the pattern blown by the wind into the dust of the desert. The viewer is also drawn skilfully into the piece with the cunning use of perspective, leaving us breathless and awed by the mastery of the artist.

Artist: Petra

X Profile: @petravoice

Artwork: Comfort Zone #11

Comfort Zone #11 is a moving piece which depicts a girl who seems to be caught in a moment of melancholy. The rawness of the image, coupled with the vibrant use of colour, creates a beautiful tension in the viewers mind. Petra has given enough detail to covey a story, and yet, the abstract nature of the background, and the 'glitch' like use of colour, lends the piece a street art vibe which is both pleasing and contemporary.

Artist: Javier Tomeo

X Profile: @JavierTomeo_

Artwork: Serenity

This piece is reminiscent of an artwork by the old masters, the use of nature in such a curated and symbolic way in particular. The viewer drifts from lily, to rainbow, to roses in an intoxicated manner, before settling to ponder the beauty of the overall image. The black frame juxtaposes the ramshackle flower display and gives the viewer the sense that they are peering into a world through a window, forever on the wrong side of the glass. The beauty within unattainable.

Artist: Leyla Ruh

X Profile@leyla_ruh

Artwork: She Pretends

Leyla's piece depicts a young woman behind layers of foliage or seaweed. She stares wistfully out of the image, a if longing to uncover herself and escape.  The title 'She Pretends' conjures up the idea of camouflage. Is she hiding? Is she being concealed for someone else's benefit? Leyla creates these questions within this beautiful image, and then leaves the viewer to consider them, whist appreciating the delicate textural elements and soft sepia tones.
