Dead Seagull's work is always masterfully created and this piece is no exception. There is such stylish simplicity in the fluid lines and the stylised figure. The heavy looking hands, holding the female form, seem to grip and pinch in a possessive way. the finger tips of the perpetrator and the neck of the victim are bloodied. Something sinister is going on here! The beautiful use of colour is reminiscent of the darker illustrations by Kay Nielsen because of the skillful use of black against earthier tones. The feathery garment gives the impression of a showgirl costume and the strange headdress and elongated neck have alien like qualities. The viewer is both entranced and a little bemused by the narrative of this piece.

The pale figure encircled by beautiful white flowers, at first glance, seems a romantic image, until the viewer notices the strange eyes in the carpel of the flowers and the milky hue of the woman's eyes. The subtle green tones of the foliage lend the piece muted beauty. The style is reminiscent of the Pre-Raphaelite era, in particular the piece 'Choosing' by George Fredric Watts. The young woman and the flowers have a melancholy air to them, as if their transient beauty is a reminder of our impermanence and ultimately death.

The cherry lips and the bright yellow of the dress, in this image, are a gorgeous combination against the pale skin and dark hair of the young woman. Her head is tilted proudly, her hands at rest in her lap, giving her a relaxed dignity. This piece evokes images of traditional portraiture with a lovely, whimsical, twist. The yellow and grey impasto texture in the piece has a Vincent van Gogh feel to it, especially in the subtle halo around the figure. Folky has created a gorgeous image and one which conjures up a certain nostalgia with its links to painters of old.

This piece is a stunning example of the beautiful and the grotesque sitting side by side. Dolce Paganne has created a fabulous image which has so many elements that are beautiful. The delicate flowers, the medieval style parklands, a shining silver city in the background. In contrast, the grotesque elements, such as the blind rat and the face which seems to be ejected from the skull revealing twisted roots within. This piece is fantastic, and reminiscent of the photography of Joel-Peter Witkin, who uses cadavers in his photographs, decorating and styling them into artworks which are both lovely and horrifying. This piece has a similar polarity to it.

Vikki has created a lovely collection of work called Ver Sacrum (sacred spring) this piece is one of that collection. The vintage photographic quality of this image is so lovely with the highly contrasting exposure and the scratches and imperfections which were common on early photographs. The image has a post mortem feel to it with the heavy closed eyelids and the expressionless face. The clothing and hair are romantic and old-fashioned which adds a beautiful, and slightly sinister, feel to the work. The whole collection is definitely worth exploring.

This piece by Ana has such poise, with the bright red lips and the feline yellow eyes. The hair moving in the breeze and the flying flowers give this image a lovely sense of movement. The viewer is transported to a seaside cliff, with the wind in their hair and the company of a beautiful woman. This piece walks a delightful line between illustration and abstraction giving the viewer just enough details to communicate the feelings of sensuality, freedom, mystery and the direct gaze of the young woman.
This image transports the viewer into the depths of the jungle, the damp smell of earth and the humidity in the air is almost tangible. This lovely image has an exotic and ancient feel to it, as if we have stepped straight back in time. The beflowered young woman, and her fabulous dress, stands centre stage, is she a princess or a human sacrifice? The darkness in the background hints at mystery, perhaps a panther lurks in the shadows. Rojita's artwork is delightful and sumptuous in the choices of colour, the flowers in particular, seem to glow with an inner light. A marvelous and intoxicating image.
0010 has created a piece of stylised perfection with this image. The title double vision describes the piece perfectly. The two figures, one positive, one negative, are stunning. The abstract shapes that surround the two figures evoke a simplified Art Nouveau feel, but with a Sci-Fi twist. The piece is both contemporary and traditional, with it's use of positive and negative spaces. The limited colour palette is satisfyingly stylish and gives the viewer just enough vibrancy to make the image pop. A truly gorgeous example of the amazing creativity to be found in the NFT community.
This image by Proxima Centauri b is stunning in its quirkiness. The deer head, or mask, is the first thing the viewer notices, followed by the perky breasts and the sumptuous flowers. This piece has a Marie Antionette feel to it, as if we are viewing a decadent masquerade party. It conjures images of sweetmeats, quartets and debauchery under a full moon. This artwork is a powerful example of AI at it's most delightful.
